It might be better considering using the protocol SFTP instead of just FTP. SFTP is also more secure than FTP. So should not be bad change to make.
Filezilla is the easiest to do SFTP file management
Make sure the following is setup correctly in your FileZilla
---Open Filezilla, go to Edit -> Settings
---Click on Connection -> FTP: Choose Active
---Click on Connection -> FTP -> Active Mode: Select "Ask your operating system for the external IP address"
---Click on Connection -> FTP -> Passive Mode: Choose Fall Back to Active Mode
---Press OK.
Setup the Site in SiteManager
In General Tab
Host: ftp.yourdomain.co.za
Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
Logon Type: Normal
Username and Password the same that you use to login to your CPanel
Account: Leave Blank
In Advance Tab nothing to do
In Transfer Settings Tab
Select Active
Click Connect and confirm all security check checkboxes
